As part of the central compliance monitoring and surveillance team to assist with the delivery if the risk-based monitoring program. Responsible for conducting and reporting of specific monitoring and sample testing reviews, with primary responsibility for developing and undertaking the monitoring program for the gifts and entertainment space. The objective is to monitor adherence to the gifts and entertainment policy, to ensure any issues identified are appropriately escalated and that remedial action is taken where necessary. Develop a gifts and entertainment monitoring program to review ongoing activities. Conduct and document monitoring reviews to assess compliance with and adherence to regulations and internal policies. Follow established global policies, procedures and minimum standards requirements for monitoring and sample testing activities. Investigate and close out any issues identified thoroughly and in a timely manner. Ensure significant issues ate escalated appropriately and promptly. Record monitoring findings in a timely manner to ensure all data is accurately and appropriately captured.

To be considered, you will be a university graduate with a minimum of 3 years compliance experience, prior monitoring and surveillance experience will be a plus. Good knowledge of banking and securities laws and regulations. Able to cope with pressure, display excellent organization skills. Able to identify problems and seek practical solutions. Highly proactive.
