Responsible for independent credit evaluation of Hong Kong counterparties, including corporate, financial institutions, hedge funds, brokers, mutual funds and insurance companies. Conduct counterparty analysis in order to recommend internal risk ratings and credit limits, and access counterparty exposure across a broad of products. Prepare written counterparty annual reviews and credit proposals for submission and presentation to management drawing conclusions relating to key risk and mitigants, risk appetite, exposure drivers and business initiatives. Evaluate transactional risks associated with various trading activities across fixed income, FX and equities businesses. Participate in and lead due diligence sessions with current and prospective counterparties. Participate in structuring and negotiation of trading documentation. Interact with salespeople, traders and other support functions in order to determine trading requirements and limit types to be established, margining, documentation as well as establishing guidelines governing trading. On-going monitoring on counterparty credit quality and drivers of credit exposure. Assist credit officers in reconciliation of relevant country limits and preparation of ad hoc reports. Conduct industry reviews relating to existing and prospective clients.

To be considered, you will be a university graduate with a minimum of 5 years of relevant credit analysis experience with reputable financial institution. Experience in analysis corporate, financial institutions and hedge funds is a definite advantage. The ability to prepare clear concise risk analysis to support decisions and recommendations is critical. Good knowledge of derivatives and capital markets products and ability to apply such knowledge to perform independent analysis of more complex trades. Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and perform ad hic analyses. Able to work efficiently and independently, with strong initiative and under pressure. Familiar with the use of spreadsheets models, Understand cashflow analysis and provide financial projections. Excellent communication skills.
