INVESTMENT ANALYST - PRIVATE EQUITY

Our client is a dynamic venture capital and private equity firm dedicated to investing in disruptive innovation that drives exponential growth with a focus on transformative technologies in AI, Robotics, Aerospace and Defense sectors that create cascading effects across industries, unlocking new frontiers of economic and technological progress. They are currently seeking an Investment Analyst.

You will play a critical role in supporting the investment team through the entire deal process, from origination to exit. In addition, you will be responsible for rigorous financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to evaluate potential investment opportunities and support the ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analyses, to evaluate potential investments.
  • Market & Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic factors to identify emerging sectors and potential opportunities.
  • Due Diligence: Support comprehensive due diligence processes by gathering and analyzing key data points, coordinating with external advisors (legal, accounting, consultants), and synthesizing findings.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear, concise investment memorandums and presentations for senior management, investment committees, and investors.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Assist in tracking and analyzing portfolio company performance, identifying operational improvements, and supporting value creation strategies.
  • Deal Support: Collaborate with senior team members on all aspects of deal management and execution, including potential negotiations and transaction structuring.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or  related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or management consulting.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in financial modeling and presentation tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive mindset with intellectual curiosity and a passion for investing
  • Exposure to AI and related disruptive technologies will be an advantage
