MIDDLE OFFICE - SENIOR ANALYST / ANALYST (contract)

Our client is an international asset management firm with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre candidate to join them.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate fund launches and other fund events, market setup and maintenance, and documentation review across international markets.
- Coordinate with teams across global regions to provide regular communication for trading readiness required for fund and client events in the international markets to internal business partners such as legal, compliance, various product groups, trading operations, etc
- Support research and reporting on regulatory requirements and due diligence in foreign markets and maintain awareness of changes in global markets, identifying developments that may impact processes or requirements, and appropriately escalating items to ensure risks are evaluated and addressed
- Work effectively with custodians and other operational groups to ensure timely and accurate execution of market-specific requirements
- Identify areas of process improvement to enhance processes and utilize technology to support the business
- Ensure timely and accurate setup of client static data across internal systems
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience preferred
- Around 2 to 5 years of experience in operations or middle office
- Experience with fund onboarding, market opening, and global custody practices and knowledge of APAC market requirements is plus
- Diligent and with ability to contribute to process improvements
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
