Our client is a well established financial institution with unparalleled reputation across the region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit high calibers to join them.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitor benchmarking, customer research, and trend analysis to identify market gaps and customer needs, define clear value propositions, and develop a prioritized product strategy and roadmap for GI and Life Insurance aligned with the Bank's strategy.
  • Lead insurance product development end-to-end, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to launch products.
  • Manage the development of an effective product strategy, with performance monitoring and analysis to refine the product distribution strategy and recommend product adjustments.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct product due diligence and third-party partner assessments in accordance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ad hoc support as assigned.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in insurance product management or distribution within a bank.
  • IIQE Papers 1, 2, and 3 qualifications are required.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory requirements for insurance distribution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is advantageous.
